Young Child Neurodevelopment Assessment

Interns will complete half-day evaluations (morning), primarily focused on young children (ages 1 to 5 years) referred for assessment of Autism and related neurodevelopment disorders. The remainder of the day will be devoted to scoring, report preparation, and feedbacks as needed. Interns have the opportunity to conduct assessment interviews, administer and interpret a battery of tests, and provide feedback to families. This rotation would include the opportunity to learn and administer the ADOS-2. If the intern’s schedule allows, the intern will also participate in a weekly (one-hour) UF Health Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment case conference.
